The most amazing classical sites are visited on this tour giving the visitor a view of remarkable ancient Greece.
1st Day Drive to the Corinth Canal(short stop). Proceed to Epidaurus and visit the Theatre famous for its incredible acoustics. Continue the drive to Nauplion (short stop), and then on to Mycenae, where you can visit the Archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Passing through Central Peloponnesus and the towns of Megalopolis and Tripolis, you will arrive at Olympia. Dinner and Overnight.
2nd Day Visit thearchaeological site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the museum of Olympia and the Ancient Stadium. On the way to Nafpaktos after a drive across the magnificent bridge which crosses the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion, (considered to be the longest and most modern bridge in Europe), you will end up in Delphi. Dinner and Overnight.
3rd Day In the morning visit the Archaeological Site and the Museum of Delphi. Depart for Kalambaka, after passing through Amphissa, Lamia and Trikala. Dinner and Overnight.
4th Day Visit the breathtaking Meteora and its Monasteries perched on top of huge rocks. Return to Athens in the afternoon, after passing through Trikala, Lamia, and Thermopylae. Arrive in Athens early in the evening.
